Motivated to make her dream of “helping salon businesses thrive” a reality, Alanna graduated from the Digital Marketing Institute with a diploma in Digital Marketing. By marrying her hair & beauty know-how with her marketing expertise and extensive knowledge of how to grow a successful, profitable salon, she will turn your can’ts into cans and dreams into plans!

In April 2021 she founded Glow Up Marketing, a marketing agency dedicated to supporting the salon industry.

Her mission is to help salon owners become fully booked without burnout, through marketing & mentoring! Alanna has a unique view of the industry having worked both as a therapist, salon manager and running social media for the various salons she has worked with internationally.

This allows her to create a bespoke marketing and brand strategy for each salon business she works with.

Alanna- founder

Alanna began her career over 10 years ago as a beauty therapist. She worked nationally and internationally in Ireland and Australia as a beauty therapist, clinic manager & business development manager.

During her time in these roles, her passion for the industry and ability to help salons grow flourished.

In 2021 Alanna founded Glow Up Marketing, a marketing agency that specialises in the hair, salon, and aesthetic industries. By marrying her salon industry experience with her marketing expertise she helps salon owners grow their business online and attract more clients. In 2023 she expanded Glow Up Marketing into the Australian market while continuing to grow her client base in Ireland. Over the last 3 years Glow Up Marketing has helped hundreds of salon owners through trainings, social media management, marketing strategies and Facebook Ads.

Alanna remains as passionate today as the day she started her career. Her mission is to continue supporting salon owners to reach their goals and grow their businesses.

Caoimhe- Graphic Designer

Caoimhe is our Cork-based graphic designer here at Glow Up Marketing, creating social media graphics, printed collateral and brand identities for our numerous clients in the beauty and aesthetic industry across Ireland and Australia. She graduated with a degree in Graphic Design Communication from the Limerick School of Art & Design, where she honed her skills in visual storytelling and brand development.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of design principles, Caoimhe brings a unique blend of artistic flair and strategic thinking to every project she undertakes.

David is our videographer and photographer, he is a passionate storytellers, turning moments into captivating visual experiences. David is a seasoned videographer with 10 years of experience in the industry, our team is driven by creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.

We understand that every project is unique, which is why we take the time to truly listen and understand your vision. From concept to final cut, our goal is to bring your story to life through stunning cinematography, seamless editing, and the perfect soundtrack. Whether it’s a brand video, event coverage, or social media content, David creates visuals that inspire and engage your audience.

Orla is our Mayo/Perth-based Social Media Manager at Glow Up Marketing.

Orla helps drive social media growth for beauty and aesthetic industry clients across Ireland and Australia. With a keen eye for emerging trends, she specialises in creating compelling social media reels, stories, and LinkedIn content that resonates with audiences.

Additionally, she helps in creating ideas and strategies for our brands and clients. Currently, Orla is studying Global Media at the University of Galway. She has a passion for social media and creative marketing is reflected in her ability to craft engaging, trend-driven content that elevates brand visibility and strengthens online communities.
