about Alanna- Director
Meet Alanna, Founder and Director of Glow Up Marketing.
Alanna began her career over 9 years ago as a beauty therapist having trained with Georgina Price College Of Beauty Therapy
and gaining qualifications with CISECO, CIBTEC & ITEC boards.
In 2023 Alanna expanded and launched Glow Up Marketing into the Australian market as well as in Ireland. With clients all over the world, including Republic or Ireland, Northen Ireland, London, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Dubai, she works with clients all over the globe.
She has worked nationally and internationally both in Ireland and in Australia as a beauty therapist, clinic manager & business development manager.
Over the years she has worked with many amazing brands such as Environ skincare, Dermalogica, Image skincare, Murad skincare, Dermapen, Candela Medical, Hydrafacial and many more!
She is also a qualified Reflexologist, Hair Extensionist, Laser Specialist and Aesthetic Therapist, to name but a few.
Merging Her Passions
Motivated to make her dream of “helping salon businesses thrive” a reality, Alanna graduated from the Digital Marketing Institute with a diploma in Digital Marketing. By marrying her hair & beauty know-how with her marketing expertise and extensive knowledge of how to grow a successful, profitable salon, she will turn your can’ts into cans and dreams into plans!
Alanna has always been incredibly passionate about the salon industry and helping other businesses to grow. In April 2019 she founded Glow Up Marketing, a marketing agency dedicated to supporting the salon industry.
Her mission is to help salon owners become fully booked without burnout, through marketing & mentoring! Alanna wanted to merge both her beauty and business knowledge in order to help salon owners build the business of their dreams.
Specialising in social media marketing and salon mentoring, Alanna has a unique view of the industry having worked both as a therapist, salon manager and running social media for the various salons she has worked with internationally.
This allows her to create a bespoke marketing and brand strategy for each salon business she works with.

Over the last 18 months we have helped hundreds of salons across Ireland and the UK to grow their businesses.
Last year Alanna was part of the @probeautyhairireland Judging panel for the PBHJ Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards.
